Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) will provide in-person networking opportunities for its members during two industry trade shows this fall. HP serves as the executive sponsor for both events.

Dscoop label and packaging members are invited to the Dscoop Labelexpo Party on Wednesday, Sept. 12. It will be held at MB Financial Park at Rosemont from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The headlining band is 7th Heaven, and The Generation Blues Experience will open for them.

“This is the first time Dscoop has hosted a networking event during Labelexpo, and we couldn’t be more excited about it,” says Jay Dollries, Dscoop North America board member and president of Innovative Labeling Solutions. “Dscoop is dedicated to offering continuously increasing value to label and packaging members, who represent a strong and growing segment for the organization.”

Dscoop will announce the theme for Dscoop8, the eighth annual Dscoop conference, during Labelexpo. Dscoop8 will be held Feb. 21-23, 2013 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

On the commercial print side, Dscoop members are invited to attend the Dscoop GRAPH EXPO Party, Sunday, Oct. 7 at the 10 Pin Bowling Lounge in Chicago from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Hey Jimmy, the popular cover band that has played at previous Dscoop conferences, will play this year. Dscoop members will be limited to five guests per company and Dscoop Partners will be limited to two guests per company.

“This is our third time hosting the event, and our members eagerly anticipate it every year,” says Susan Moore, Dscoop North America chairwoman and president of DPI. “Our members will be able to unwind, dance, catch up with each other and enjoy the informal setting.”
